It is the end of Fashion As We Know It!

I recently witnessed the 3 most distressing commercials I have ever seen in my life: The Snuggie (in brief, a robe that you wear backwards); Pajama Jeans (jeans as 'comfy' as pajamas that can be worn out...or to bed); and lastly a company called Lazy Forever, who sell a series of sweat suits in either blue or pink that offer optimal comfort. WHAT IS HAPPENING TO FASHION?!?!

Do people really want to dress in these overly casual, 'I've given up on life' scrubs?? Whatever happened to wanting to look your best? What ever happened to personal style? Styles that show off everything that you love about yourself?

I don't believe in the need to follow trends if you want to look good. In fact, I abhor the idea that everyone needs to follow trends in order to be cool and 'with it', but is it too much to hope that people have their own personal style? That people care to look good, whatever their definition of that is? Has one not gone and completely admitted that they have given up on themselves by buying into these horrible 'trends'??

I don't know what to make of these awful 'sartorial' options.

Don't you believe it is important to love yourself and show that on the outside as well??
