Can you recall the last time you stopped to fully appreciate the sense of touch?

Giving yourself the time to truly take in what it felt like this morning when you slipped on your Monday morning outfit? For those of us sharing a space with our partner, can we honestly say that each time we share a kiss we take it in completely? I didn’t think so...

So sometime this week, I implore you to stop and take it all in. Pour yourself a bath and let yourself feel your skin tighten as it adjusts to the temperature. Take a sip of wine and let yourself feel the contrast of its coolness against the sting of the alcohol. Slip in to bed and focus on the soft caress of cotton sheets washing over every inch of your body.

Hug a friend. Kiss your lover. But stop and do it consciously, with attention and care. Your daily tasks will suddenly have never before felt so...stimulating.
