When enough has been enough?

How can you be 100% sure, when in a relationship, when enough has been enough?

What I mean is, when/how can you tell if things are still worth fighting for?



Let's face the facts: even the most romantic relationships face a fair deal of tough time if things start to get serious and go into the long term.

People lose their jobs, move to a new country, start new jobs, et cetera et cetera. All of these things add tons of stress.



My question is, what's worth dealing with? How can you be sure that the effort you're putting in to 'making things work' will be worth it? Or will at least be remembered and appreciated by your partner when things eventually do smooth out? Is there any way to be sure?



Perhaps there isn't.



Perhaps the only thing to do is listen to yourself and decide if YOU are still happy carrying on through the tough times. Its impossible to predict what will come of any situation, so I say be true to you. Its my favourite no-fail formula for living your life.
